The first season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime series premiered in 2006 in a non-linear order, and was rebroadcast in 2009 with new episodes and a new chronological order.
The parody of Nagaru Tanigawa and Noizi Ito’s The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series launched in the magazine in July 2007.
The January 2019 issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine revealed on Monday that Puyo’s The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan four-panel gag manga will end in the next issue on December 26.
The Little, Brown Books for Young Readers imprint released the entire series in 10 volumes between 2009-2013.
