Chūji Mikasano is returning from the first two Tokyo Ghoul anime to provide series composition and write the scripts.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul:re manga unveiled a new visual for the anime on Thursday.
Ishida serialized the 14-volume Tokyo Ghoul manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine from 2011 to 2014, and launched Tokyo Ghoul:re in October 2014 in the same magazine.
Tokyo Ghoul inspired two anime series, several original video anime projects, a live-action film, PlayStation Vita and smartphone games, and two stage plays.
