Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike Tries Out "Princess Knight" Cosplay

In 2015, Koike appeared at the event dressed as Sally from Sally the Witch.

Yuriko Koike, a full-time politician as the governor of Tokyo, is also apparently a part-time cosplay enthusiast, because she appeared dressed as Princess Sapphire from Osamu Tezuka’s manga and TV anime Princess Knight at the “Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest” event held on October 29, 2016.

This appearance marks the second time that Koike, who became the first woman governor of Tokyo in July of 2016, has cosplayed at the “Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest”.
