Toyo Keizai: Demon Slayer Franchise's Merchandising Is in 900 Billion Yen Range

  • The Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film opened in October 2020.

  • Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga made about 10 billion yen (about US$87 million) in 2019 and about 44 billion yen (about US$385 million) in 2020 alone.

  • LiSA’s theme song “Gurenge” for the Demon Slayer anime made about 300 million yen (about US$2.6 million) in 2019 and another 500 million yen (about US$4.4 million) in 2020.
