A flyer from this year’s AnimeJapan 2017 event revealed on Thursday that the television anime of Yoshikazu Hamada’s Tsugumomo manga will get 12 episodes.
Kiyotaka Nakahara (Persona 4 The Animation) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director, and Masaaki Sakurai (Devil Survivor 2 The Animation, Hayate the Combat Butler) is also serving as chief animation director.
The manga then switched again to Futabasha’s Monthly Action magazine, where it now runs.
The series will premiere on Animax on April 2 at 11:30 p.m., before airing later that evening on Tokyo MX and BS11.
