The first anime season premiered globally on Netflix on April 1.
The official website for the 3D CG anime of Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi’s Ultraman manga announced on Wednesday that production on a second season has been green-lit.
The announcement was first made at the 2019 Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France.
Ryohei Kimura starred in the first season as Shinjiro Hayata, and the other cast members included Takuya Eguchi as Dan Moroboshi, Megumi Han as Seiji Hokuto, and Hideyuki Tanaka as Shin Hayata.
