The manga went on hiatus on June 22, before it returned and switched to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in its November issue on October 8, with the new title UQ Holder!: Magister Negi Magi!
Akamatsu launched UQ Holder! in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in Japan in August 2013.
Manga creator Ken Akamatsu hinted on Twitter on Thursday that the previously revealed anime adaptation of his UQ Holder! manga will have a television broadcast and original anime DVD (OAD) release in 2017.
UQ Holder! is set in the world of Akamatsu’s Negima!
