The first season of the TV anime produced by Bones was aired for 13 episodes in Japan from April to June 2016, and the production of the second season was announced in the end of its final episode.
The broadcast schedule for the second season has not been confirmed yet.
Preparing for the upcoming second season, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi’s hero action shonen mange series Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia today released a seven-minute special PV narrated by Daiki Yamashita as Izuku Midoriya/Deku to introduce the anime’s world setting, story premise and characters.
