The second season will be picking up where the first season left off, with Sorey continuing with his journey as the Shepherd, with the goal of coexistence between humans and Seraphim.
It was also announced that this new anime season is premiering this January 8, 2017.
After making people drool with its beautiful and crisp animation, ufotable’s Tales of Zestiria the X (X read as “cross”) will be returning for a second season this January, and a brand new TV commercial has been released back in Japan, and it seems that the anime will be retaining its jaw-dropping ufotable-quality animation.
The video also features the anime’s new OP song, which is titled “Innosense”, which is performed by none other than esteemed Japanese rock band, FLOW.
