"Wakakozake" Teams Up with Iwatsuka Confectionery Co. Ltd. for Summer Snacking

The collaboration involves new promotional artwork for the “Adult Snack Series”, which includes original 4-panel Wakakozake comics on the back of the packaging.

The “Adult Snack Series” includes 4 varieties of deep fried rice crackers: shrimp crunchies (spicy shrimp curry flavored), black-pepper shrimp (tangy shrimp and pepper flavored), salty wasabi, and edamame arare (green soybeans, rice, and soy sauce flavored).

A TV commercial featuring voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro reprising her role as Wakako Murasaki was also released.
