The official website for Sega’s Yakuza (Ryū ga Gotoku) game series announced a restructuring of the game’s development team, with series chief director Toshihiro Nagoshi and series producer Daisuke Satō leaving Sega.
Masayoshi Yokoyama will now succeed Nagoshi as series director, while producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto is now chief producer, and director Ryosuke Horii is now chief director.
Nagoshi stepped down from his role as chief creative officer of Sega, but continued as creative director of Sega since April 1.
The game shipped for Xbox X|S, Xbox One, and PC in Japan on February 25.
