Yoshikazu Yasuhiko Illustrates Cover of "Weekly Asahi" Magazine

In anticipation of the release of limited theatrical release of the 3rd Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ORIGIN OAV in Japan on May 21, 2016, Weekly Asahi – a periodical aimed at a broad audience and published by The Asahi Shimbun – will be releasing a special Mobile Suit Gundam-themed issue featuring an original cover illustration by Yasuhiko Yoshikazu.

The Mobile Suit Gundam special issue of Weekly Asahi goes on sail in Japan on May 17, 2016.

The cover illustration depicts Char Aznable and Garma Zabi, whose fateful meeting at the Zeon Academy forms the basis for Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ORIGIN III – Dawn of Rebellion.
