A live-streamed presentation for the Z/X game franchise announced the main staff, studio, and release date for the planned anime based on the Z/X Code reunion manga on Tuesday.
The card game has also inspired a PlayStation 3 game, a PC browser game, and a previous manga series in Shueisha’s V Jump magazine.
The Z/X Zillions of enemy X game already inspired a television anime in 2014.
Urahata is also working alongside artist Takuya Fujima (Weiß Survive, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) on the original Z/X Code reunion manga, which launched in Shueisha’s V Jump magazine last September.
