I am constantly amused and amazed by how well produced the adaptation looks.

Still plan on watching the series and now the movies, even though Sega/Gumi closed down the English version of the game.

I enjoyed the story and the characters, so it will be great to see them again in some form!

All of the nostalgic feels. Still salty that Sega/Gumi shut down the english version of the game to pander and market their potk.

As expected the focus seems to be on the first units you get in the game as "main characters". I wonder if

I wonder if the show will focus more on "adventure" aspect or more on tactical aspect, since this could work as both LOTR-like journey towards badguy and as a grand-scale warfare kind of story.

Dunno what they will do with MC as that is quite a versatile actor for a role that is mainly mute in the games.

Either way its always nice to see Toi8's art come to life.

so i presume the movies is just tv series combined into 3 part(1 movie=4 tv episode)
like Ajin?

Jul 26, 2016 7:28 AM by edge13

What the hell, first they say 2015, then 2016, and now we're getting "3 movies" (I bet it's just the first 3 episodes) before thr TV broadcast, so this will air in Spring 2017 at the earliest... probably 2018 at this rate. Just why.

Haven't played the games before but it's been awhile since we've heard any news about Chain Chronicle. Interesting.

The game is OK. Looking forward to the anime.

Oh? That's interesting. Just like every series, I just hope there wont be recaps.
A trilogy movie sounds good. I didn't play that much from the game (3 towns), so I don't know that much from the story.
Is it going to be like grimgar though? Story but not really? Kinda SoL?

The game is pretty fun, so interested to see how this will turn out.
