A Penguin’s Troubles, an earlier manga that Nagai published in Monthly Coro Coro Comic, inspired a 2008 television anime and a 2009 anime movie.
The October issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comic magazine announced on Thursday that an anime adaptation of Yūji Nagai’s gag comedy manga 100% Pasukaru Sensei (100% Pascal-sensei) has been green-lit.
The anime will premiere on the Coro Coro Channel online on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. It is also getting its own regular segment during the long-running children’s television program Oha-Suta.
The story centers around an elementary school teacher who is so stupid, he cannot even write his own name.
