2018 Doraemon Film's Teaser Video Reveals, Previews Gen Hoshino Insert Song

  • The official website for the Doraemon anime films began streaming a teaser video for the franchise’s 38th film, Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island), on Thursday.

  • The film is the highest-grossing anime in the current 12-installment Doraemon film series that began with the 2006 film Doraemon: Nobita No Kyoryu.

  • Kazuaki Imai, an episode director on the Doraemon television anime, is directing the project as his first Doraemon franchise film.
