This year’s 23rd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine announced on Wednesday that the television anime of Takeshi Hinata’s Ahiru no Sora manga will premiere in October.
Keizou Kusakawa (Fuuka, Aho Girl, Kan Colle) is credited as chief director, while Shingo Tamaki (Aho Girl) is directing the anime at diomedea.
In the story, 15-year-old Sora Kurumatani is only 149 centimeters (4’10”) tall, but he loves basketball.
Hinata launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2003, and Kodansha released the manga’s 50th compiled book volume on November 16.
