A new preview video and the Japanese TV schedule have been published for Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes (“Holmes at Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo”), an upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the series of light novels written by Mai Mochizuki and illustrated by Yamōchishizu about part-time workers in an antiques store that solve mysteries for their customers.
The original Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes novels are published in Japan by Futabasha, and a manga adaptation of the series featuring artwork by Ichiha Akizuki is serialized in Futabasha’s Monthly Action seinen manga magazine.
The story of Kyoto Teramchi Sanjo no Holmes follows Aoi Mashiro, a high school girl who works part-time at the “Kura” antique store located in Kyoto, and Kiyotaka Yagashira, the grandson of the store’s owner who is known as the “Holmes of Teramachi”.
