The second season premiered over three years after action-horror anime Attack on Titan’s naked, toothy giants achieved anime acclaim (and notoriety).
Before we talk about Season Two, I must confess that I do not, and never have, liked Attack on Titan.
Mostly-bleh characters and a strange reliance on backfill aren’t the best vehicles for a plot as good at Attack on Titan’s.
If you’re already into Attack on Titan, you’ll love what the first episode is doing.
