The official website for Studio 3Hz’s original theatrical anime project Blackfox began streaming a video previewing the film’s first seven minutes on Friday.
The drama is set in the past (as opposed to the near-future setting of the anime).
The anime is also receiving a live-action tokusatsu period drama tie-in this fall.
Kazuya Nomura (Robotics;Notes, Joker Game, Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie) is the chief director of the anime at Studio 3Hz (Princess Principal, Flip Flappers, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online), and Keisuke Shinohara (episode director for Little Witch Academia, DEVILMAN crybaby, Kiznaiver) is directing the anime.
