Box Office: "Girls und Panzer" Film Finally Tops 2 Billion Yen

The all-new Girls und Panzer film was originally released on November 21, 2015, and has seen no end of its theatrical run for a while.

Now it becomes the 18th top-grossing Japanese film of 2015, surpassing The Last: Naruto the Movie that earned 2 billion yen.

As reported, in commemoration of the release of its DVD/Blu-ray on May 27, Girls und Panzer der Film has received a large-scale rerun at 153 theaters (including 38 newly added ones) across Japan since last Saturday.
