Shonengahosha published a book volume spinoff of Yū Yūki and Sō’s Comical Psychosomatic Medicine manga on Monday titled Manga de Wakaru Shinryōnaika – Alain no Kōfuku Ronhen (Comical Psychosomatic Medicine – Alain on Happiness).
The book tackles French philosopher Émile Chartier, also known as Alain, and his book Alain on Happiness, with the character Asuna Kangoshi explaining the topic.
The manga inspired a web anime series that premiered in February 2015, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
Shonengahosha’s Young King magazine began publishing the series in 2010 and released the first compiled volume that same year.
