Crunchyroll previously reported on how voice actor Hiroki Yasumoto (Yasutora “Chad” Sado in Bleach, Natsu Kumai in Kumamiko: Girl Meets Bear) will be playing the role of Subara Mimasaka in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Second Plate, the upcoming TV anime sequel series based on the culinary-battle manga written by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki.

The series is directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani and features animation from J.C. Staff.
