Now, with Aniplex USA and Funimation cousin companies under Sony, the complete 64-episode series is now streaming on Funimation again as of 4:00 pm ET time today.
The folks at Funimation lost the rights to the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood series a few years back and Aniplex USA picked them up because of how it was an Aniplex show that went back up the chain.
Originally airing in 2009 and 2010, the series was directed by Yasuhiro Irie based on the series composition by Hiroshi Ohnogi.
The main character is the famous alchemist Edward Elric—also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist—who almost lost his little brother, Alphonse, in an alchemical accident.
