Ochiai launched the Gingitsune manga in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in 2009, and Shueisha published the 12th compiled volume in June 2015.
This year’s 46th issue of Kodansha’s Morning magazine revealed on October 13 that manga creator Sayori Ochiai (Gingitsune) will end her Hoiku no Ō-sama (Day Care King) manga in the magazine’s next issue, which Kodansha published on Thursday.
The series inspired a television anime adaptation titled Gingitsune: Messenger Fox of the Gods that premiered in October 2013.
The manga’s fifth volume is slated for Friday, while the sixth and final volume is slated for January.
