Nearly 40 years after its initial publication, a formative graphic novel by Studio Ghibli’s Hayao Miyazaki is finally making its way over in English.
Shuna’s Journey contains hints of later works by Miyazaki like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke.
First Second Books announced plans to release 1983’s Shuna’s Journey, featuring a translation by Alex Dudok de Wit.
