Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter head the My Hero Academia live-action fllm project for Legendary Films, while Ryosuke Yoritomi represents Shueisha, the publishers of the original manga, on the project.
Announced way back in October of 2018, Legendary Films’ live-action adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi’s smash-hit superhero manga and anime, My Hero Academia, now has a director attached: Shinsuke Sato, who has previously worked on live action film adaptations of series such as Gantz, I Am a Hero, Death Note, Bleach, Inuyashiki, Kingdom, and Alice in Borderland.
