Lupin III: Part IV, the first Lupin III television anime series in three decades to star the titular character, premiered in Japan in October 2015, after first premiering as Lupin III – L’avventura Italiana on Italian television in August 2015.
The official Facebook page of Adult Swim’s Toonami block announced on Saturday that the Lupin III: Part IV anime will return to the block on June 2 at 3:30 a.m. The show is replacing Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
Richard Epcar, the voice of Daisuke Jigen from Lupin III: Part II, returned to direct the English dub of Lupin III: Part IV along with Ellyn Stern.
Tony Oliver (Arsene Lupin III), Lex Lang (Goemon Ishikawa), and Michelle Ruff (Fujiko Mine) also returned from Part II.
