Mamoru Hosoda Talks Creating ‘The Boy and the Beast’ Anime Feature

The film is an original work for Hosoda and was in development for quite some time.

Originally in theaters back on July 11th, 2015 in Japan, the film was localized as The Boy and the Beast.

With the home video release coming up on June 7th, 2016, Funimation has a new two-minute interview they’ve put out with Mamoru Hosoda, the director of The Boy and the Beast.
