The manga’s first stage play adaptation is written/directed by 38-year-old Chuji Mikasano, the series composition writer for the Tokyo Ghoul TV anime (2014) and the director of the Touken Ranbu musical series (2015-2018), and is set to be performed in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Aichi from August to September.
Its final day performance at Ichimiya Civic Hall in Aichi on September 22 will be live-streamed on WOWOW and Nico Nico Live.
The official website for the forthcoming stage play adaptation of Yoshihiro Togashi’s action fantasy shonen manga in the 1990s, Yu Yu Hakusho, has posted individual visuals of its ten main cast, including 29-year-old Tsubasa Sakiyama (Ishikirimaru in the Touken Ranbu musical series) as the protagonist Yusuke Urameshi.
