To promote the release of the latest 11th volume of Mitsuru Adachi’s high school baseball-temed manga MIX today in Japan, Shogakukan starts airing a 15-second CM starring 55-year-old voice actress Noriko Hidaka, who voiced the main herione Minami Asakura in the anime adaptation of one of his representative works, Touch, in the mid-1980s.
Hidaka is well known as the voice of Akane Tendo in Ranma 1/2, Noriko Takaya in Gunbuster, and Satsuki Kusakabe in My Neighbor Totoro.
Touma Tachibana watched, and the episode is included in the 11th volume.
