The official Twitter account for the My Hero Academia anime announced on Saturday that due to emergency reporting on Typhoon Hagibis (Typhoon 19), the first episode of the anime’s fourth season did not air in some regions on NTV as planned on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. JST.
The episode of Detective Conan that was slated to air at 6:00 p.m. JST on NTV also did not air as planned in some areas, but the episode did air on YTV.
The record-breaking Typhoon Hagibis will officially make landfall in Japan on Saturday evening.
My Hero Academia manga creator Kōhei Horikoshi posted on Twitter about the cancellation of the episode’s airing, stating, “I’m sorry to everyone where the broadcast was cancelled!
