The official website for the My Hero Academia anime franchise announced today that it will collaborate with this year’s Kanda Matsuri, which will be held at Kanda Shrine/Kanda Myoujin and the areas around Tokyo in the middle of May.
It is one of the three largest festivals in Japan, along with Gion Matsuri in Kyoto (July) and Tenjin Matsuri in Osaka (June-July).
The festival began in the beginning of the era to celebrate the war victories of Ieyasu Tokugawa, the founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate.
