New Gegege no Kitarō Anime Reveals Theme Song Artists

The official website of the new television anime based on Shigeru Mizuki’s GeGeGe no Kitarō manga revealed the anime’s theme song artists on Monday.

The manga, which began in 1959 under the name Hakaba Kitarō, has spawned seven television series (including one Hakaba Kitarō anime), several animated movies, and two live-action films.

Kiyoshi Hikawa will perform the anime’s classic opening theme song “Gegege no Kitarō,” while idol group Maneki-kecak will perform the anime’s ending theme song “Kagami no Naka kara” (From Inside the Mirror).
