The official website for the anime adaptation of Natsu Hyūga and Touko Shino’s The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) light novel series revealed 13 more cast members, the opening and ending theme songs, and the show’s main promotional video on Sunday.

The anime will premiere on October 21 with the first three episodes, and will air for two cours (quarters of a year).

The video reveals and previews Ryokuōshoku Shakai’s opening theme song “Hana ni Natte” (Become a Flower).

Shadow Gaiden (The Eminence in Shadow – Shadow Side Story) manga by Seta U on Tuesday.

The spinoff manga is based on Daisuke Aizawa’s The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) light novels.

The show now has its Japanese home video releases scheduled with the twelve-episode series set as two collections of six episodes each.

The sets are landing on September 27th, 2023 and November 29th, 2023 respectively priced at 18,000 yen per set.

The series has Norio Nitta directing it and is based on the series composition by Deko Akao.

The project saw an October 2nd, 2020 debut date in Japan, and Funimation picked it up for streaming which then saw the move to Crunchyroll.
