Sony released a version 6.50 update for the PlayStation 4 system software on Thursday, which allows users to remote play from their iOS device.
Remote Play is also available on PC, Mac, Sony Xperia devices, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation TV.
The app on iOS devices then displays a touchpad that looks similar to the layout of a PS4 controller.
In order to activate the feature, users need to download the PS4 Remote Play app on their iOS device, and then either use a search function in the app to find their PS4 device, or manually set up the remote play in the Settings menu on their PS4.
