In addition to the previously announced seven, the official Twitter for ex-Studio Ghibli director Hiromasa Yonebayashi (The Secret World of Arrietty, When Marnie Was There)’s new anime feature film Mary to Mahou no Hana/Mary and The Witch’s Flower confirmed today that 24-year-old actor Ryunosuke Kamiki also voiced one of the main characters, 12-year-old boy Peter, who gets involved in a big trouble because of the protagonist Mary’s little lie.
This is the first time in seven years for Kamiki to team up with Yonebayashi since his 2010 film Kari-gurashi no Arrietty/The Secret World of Arrietty in which Kamiki voiced the human protagonist Sho.
As an anime voice actor, Kamiki joined all top 3 highest grossing Japanese films in history: Spirited Away (2001/as Boh), Your Name.
