Atlus began streaming the opening anime movie on Saturday for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, a Nintendo 3DS remake of its Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Nintendo DS game.
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux will use the original game as a base while also adding original content, and the ability to save at any time even while exploring dungeons.
Like many games in the Shin Megami Tensei series, the player explores the dungeons in a first-person perspective, and may bargain with demons to recruit them.
The original game shipped for the Nintendo DS in Japan in 2009, and in North America in 2010.
