The original live-action Denkō Chōjin Gridman debuted in 1993, 12 years after Tsuburaya Productions’ last major live-action tokusatsu television series, Ultraman 1980.
As previously announced, Akira Amemiya (Inferno Cop, Ninja Slayer, earlier 2015 “Denkō Chōjin Gridman boy invent great hero” short) is directing this collaboration between the anime Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions — the creator of the Ultraman franchise and the original 1993-1994 live-action tokusatsu (special-effects) series Denkō Chōjin Gridman.
Gridman television anime began streaming a promotional video for the anime on Saturday.
The story is set in the “Computer World” where war is waging in computers.
