Studio Ghibli Appoints New CEO

  • Studio Ghibli has now appointed Kiyofumi Nakajima its new CEO in time for work on what’s being called Hayao Miyazaki’s final film.

  • Beyond Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, the third name that every Studio Ghibli admirer should know is Toshio Suzuki – the institution’s co-founder, former president and producer of many of the films.

  • Hoshino, Nakajima and Suzuki will all be directors on the Ghibli board.
