Suzume Becomes First Japanese Film Ever to Enter South Korea’s All-Time Top 100 Box Office

According to the Korean Film Council, as of June 4, 5,514,465 people have seen Suzume in South Korean theaters, for a box office gross of US$43,265,860, the third highest gross for the film worldwide after China and Japan.

In South Korea, the top 100 films are based on attendance rather than box office gross.

It is undeniable that Suzume is a worldwide success, especially in Asia where it has made most of its global box office gross.
