Violet Evergarden – Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll -, the last film completed by Kyoto Animation before the arson on July 18, will be getting a release in China, reports Beijing News via Sina Weibo.
If it does get a theatrical release, it’ll be the first Kyoto Animation film to be screening in the country in a proper theatrical run, which will push up the (already large) box office gross of the film.
A new poster was shown off to commemorate the release with a brand new key visual of Violet and the new character Isabella York.
