The frozen weapon will be exhibited at the 50th annual Seki Cutlery Festival, which will be held at the Seki Blacksmith Museum in Minamikasugacho, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, on October 07 – 08, 2017.
The city of Seki in Gifu Prefecture is celebrating its 50th annual cutlery festival in October of 2017, and Japanese sweet-maker Imuraya Confectionery is putting on a display of their dessert-crafting skills by transforming their popular “Azuki Bar” confection into a sword fit for the coolest samurai.
The 65 centimeter (25.6 inch) “Azuki Bar” sword has a wooden core and a blade made of water, sugar, azuki beans, corn syrup, corn starch, and salt.
